Jig HuntJig
9 year old Working Sheep dog

"After Jig's injury to his hamstring it was impossible to run an agility course
comfortably. He was trying to take off by using his front end only. The treatment
and rehabilitation program Tace gave him meant he had to initially stop any
activities that may aggravate his injury. Over the next 6 months, he had a
strict regime of treatments and exercises to gradually build back up to agility
competitions. Once back jig qualified for Crufts and came 2nd in the UK Agility
National Finals.
I have no doubt this was thanks to Tace and the program she gave us. Sports
Massage has become a very important part of agility for me now, and as an agility
trainer I am now passing on what I have learnt to my clients to ensure their
dogs have a long and injury free agility career."

What Tace Says:
Shortly after I met Jig he came down with Bronchopneumonia, which in turn
affected his nervous system affecting the nerves that supplied his facial muscles
causing them to droop. With this going on, his body tightened up and his pelvis
was pulled out of alignment, which put his hind muscles under excess strain
causing a secondary hamstring tear. It took an incredibly long time to rehabilitate
him back to a fitness level that allowed him to compete again, but with Shaun’s
co-operation (which was extremely frustrating for him), we got Jig back as
fit as he could be under the circumstances.
He did us all proud in the National Finals, coming 2nd to a 4 year old dog
and then qualifying in the Team event to qualify for Crufts.
